What are Prime Video Channels?
Prime Video Channels are monthly subscriptions that are add-ons to an Amazon Prime membership. It’s essentially an à la carte streaming service that goes along with Prime Video. Just pick and choose what you want and it will be added to your account. For an additional monthly fee, you'll get access to movies and TV shows from other premium networks and streaming channels—without a cable subscription and all inside of your Prime Video account. No more switching between apps!
In addition, some channel subscriptions offer a ‘Watch Live’ feature, so you can live-stream on smartphones, tablets, laptops and devices like the Fire TV Stick during a live TV broadcast. Check out a list of supported devices here.
How many channels are on Prime Video?
There are more than 150 streaming channels on Prime Video, including HBO, Starz, Shudder, Showtime, CBS All Access, Cinemax and more. Check out all the channels here. There’s even a TV schedule guide to help you decide what to watch!
How do I get this early Prime Day deal?
If you’re a Prime member, select a channel and confirm your information. You’ll only be billed $1 per month over the next two months. Afterwards, you’ll be billed the normal subscription cost during the following month. If you don’t want to continue, just cancel the channel before the 60-day promo window is over. No hard feelings.
Prime Video Channels are a great way to watch your favorite movies and TV shows and discover new favorites too. You’ll have the freedom to watch on just about any device, so you don’t have to be tied down to just a TV.
