It's a very big day in tennis: Novak Djokovic and Nick Kyrgios face off for the Wimbledon title. But in even bigger tennis news, 8-year-old Prince George made his first appearance at the famous grass court tournament. He joins countless members of the British royal family to attend Wimbledon over the years, including his mom Kate Middleton—a Wimbledon superfan.

Kate became royal patron of the All England Lawn Tennis Club in 2016, yet, ever since she joined the royal family in 2011, she's been a regular at the summer tournament. In 2022 alone, it's the Duchess of Cambridge's third time at Wimbledon; she was in the crowds yesterday for the women's singles finals, and handed out the trophies at the end of the match, and watched the quarterfinals earlier in the week.

The Cambridges sat in the royal box to watch the men's singles finals between Novak Djokovic of Serbia and Nick Kyrgios of Australia. It was Prince George's royal debut at Wimbledon.
