Prince George, Prince Louis, and Princess Charlotte Join Will and Kate for a Festive Christmas Lunch
Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis are all headed to their Gan-Gan's house for a Christmas lunch this afternoon. (But of course, when your great-grandmother also happens to be Queen Elizabeth, her festive party takes place at a palace, and typically includes more than 50 of your closest relatives).
The Cambridge kids were photographed driving up to Buckingham Palace with their parents today, each looking quite dressed up for the occasion.
Prince George, who rode with his father, was spotted wearing a collared shirt, while his younger brother Louis (above), who rode with Kate, is a bit more festive in a cozy green sweater.
It's harder to tell what Princess Charlotte is wearing, but one photo where she's smiling behind her mom, she appears to be wearing a red top.
Today's party is just one way that the Cambridge kids are celebrating the holidays. During A Very Berry Christmas special, which aired in the U.K. earlier this week, Prince William shared that George has already written his list for Santa.
"George has already written his list for Father Christmas," William told a group at a homeless charity called The Passage, where he was volunteering.
"[George] loves his drawing. He's a very good drawerer. We might give him something to do with drawing or football."
William also suggested that he and the kids might make some mince pies, (a very traditional British holiday dessert) this season.
"We're talking about doing mince pies this year," Prince William said. "I love mince pies, so if the children are going to cook mince pies then I'm happy to do that."
And a little later this month, William, Kate, and their kids are expected to head to Sandringham to spend Christmas and New Year's with the immediate royal family.
