Prince George sports huge grin in 5th birthday photo
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have released a new photo of Prince George, in celebration of his fifth birthday on Sunday, July 22.
The image, showing the couple’s eldest son — and the future king — grinning in front of a brick wall, was taken at Clarence House on the day of brother Prince Louis’s christening earlier this month.
Matt Porteous, one of the official christening photographers, took the image.

William and Kate have released one or more photos of George every year since his birth, and Porteous has taken a number of these, too.
George Alexander Louis of Cambridge is one of the queen’s great-grandchildren and is third in line to the throne behind his father, Prince William, and grandfather, Prince Charles.
He, like his siblings, was born in the private Lindo Wing at St. Mary’s Hospital in Paddington, London.
