After the then-unnamed baby was born, Prince Harry told reporters he was "over the moon."
"It was amazing. ... I’m so incredibly proud of my wife," he said. "As every father and parent would ever say, your baby is absolutely amazing. This little thing is absolutely to die for."
Days after he was born, Duchess Meghan celebrated her first Mother's Day with a sweet Instagram post cradling the newborn's toes. It also paid homage to Harry's late mother, Princess Diana, with a display of her favorite flowers in the background: forget-me-nots.
"Paying tribute to all mothers today – past, present, mothers-to-be, and those lost but forever remembered," the caption read. "We honor and celebrate each and every one of you."
