Prince Harry Ducks Out of Coronation and Heads Straight for the Airport
Prince Harry made a notable appearance in the UK for his father King Charles' coronation, but he seemed to waste no time in getting out of dodge right after the ceremony was over.
The Duke of Sussex, 38, was seen leaving the ceremony less than an hour after the crowning ceremony on Saturday, May 6, hopping into a car and heading straight for the airport, as confirmed by Page Six.
Harry was in the UK for just over 24 hours, which means he spent almost as much time in the air as he did back in his native country for the event.
He's likely trying to make it to his home in California in time for his son Archie's birthday, as the firstborn child he shares with wife Meghan Markle turns four today.

Harry left the event before the Royal family made it back to Buckingham Palace, as he was noticeably absent from the highly-anticipated balcony appearance.
But Harry missing the balcony moment likely doesn't come as a shock to many, as he stepped down from his role as a senior member of the Royal family back in 2020. There is also believed to be lingering tension between him and his father, as well as his brother Prince William, especially following the release of his tell-all memoir Spare.
Instead, those on the balcony—which is typically reserved for working members of the Royal family—included the newly-crowned King Charles and Queen Camilla, as well as the Prince and Princess of Wales, and their children Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. (Prince George was also in attendance as one of the Pages of Honour.)
Other royals that appeared on the balcony included Princess Anne, the Duke and Duchess of Edinburg, Lady Louise Windsor, Vice Admiral Sir Tim Lawrence and the Earl of Wessex.
