Prince Charles, Prince of Wales and Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex attend the "Our Planet" global premiere at Natural History Museum on April 4, 2019, in London, England.
Less than two weeks after Buckingham Palace announced that King Charles III was diagnosed with cancer, the British monarch's younger son, Prince Harry broke his silence.
Prince Harry opened up about his father’s cancer diagnosis during an interview with Good Morning America, while in Canada for the Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler 2025's One Year to Go celebration. In the process, the Duke of Sussex revealed he learned about King Charles' cancer by phone.
"I spoke to him. I jumped on a plane and went to go see him as soon as I could,” he explained.
On Feb. 6, Prince Harry flew in from LAX to Clarence House in London, England, to visit King Charles.
"Look, I love my family," he continued. "The fact that I was able to get on a plane and go and see him and spend any time with him, I’m grateful for that.”
