Prince Harry Hinted That He And Meghan Markle Are Already Thinking About Baby Number 2
During a meeting with military families in Windsor yesterday, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex spoke to fans about their son, Archie Harrison.
One woman who talked to Prince Harry shared a comment the royal made that may hint that he and Meghan Markle are already thinking about having a second child.
The Sussex family might add a fourth member soon.
Yesterday, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex met with military families at a community center in Windsor, the town where they live with their son, Archie Harrison. The couple only welcomed Archie six months ago, but it looks like they might already be thinking ahead to baby number two.
During the surprise engagement, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle spoke to the spouses, children, and relatives of military servicemembers, including Susie Stringfellow, who told Forces Network that Harry had the subject of having more kids on the brain.
"Harry was really quite interested in how things were with second children as well, because we both have older children," Stringfellow told the network in a video, referencing another attendee at the event who has multiple kids. "We were trying to encourage him to have a second baby."
Another woman at the meeting, Victoria Tucker, revealed that Harry and Meghan discussed the way life in the army takes soldiers away from their families and how they would feel if they were called away from their newborn.
"They were talking about Army life, being away for Christmas...they can compare with us," she said. "They didn't want to miss anything, with their little boy now, just how our husbands miss their children."
Harry, who served in the army for 10 years, could personally relate to the way the job takes men and women away from their families and said he couldn't fathom being in that position now, as a new father.
"I can't imagine what it's like to miss so much, as they change so quickly," the Duke of Sussex said. Archie is definitely lucky to have both of his parents with him all of the time—and his future sibling will be, too.
