Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Are Finally Going to Sussex
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are a true jet-setting couple. Since their wedding in May, the pair has been spotted in Amsterdam, went on a honeymoon somewhere in Africa, and are planning a trip this October to Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, and the Kingdom of Tonga. But before they go they have one more stop to make, and it’s a fairly obvious one.
Yes, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are finally going to Sussex.
On October 3, the royal couple will make the two-hour pilgrimage from London to their namesake town, according to Kensington Palace. There, the couple will visit the historic Sussex Declaration and open the University of Chichester in West Sussex. Next, Harry and Meghan will head to East Sussex and visit the Royal Pavilion, which was first built in the 1780s and used by George IV. There, they will meet with the Survivors Network of Britain, before wrapping up the trip with a visit to the Peacehaven Youth Centre.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will make their first official visit to Sussex on 3rd October.

For those of you who somehow missed the news during Meghan and Harry’s wedding day, Queen Elizabeth, Harry’s grandmother, bestowed the titles upon them as a gift, just as she bestowed the title of Duke and Duchess of Cambridge on Prince William and Kate Middleton on their wedding day.
“The Queen has today been pleased to confer a Dukedom on Prince Henry of Wales. His titles will be Duke of Sussex, Earl of Dumbarton and Baron Kilkeel,” the Palace said in a statement in May. “Prince Harry thus becomes His Royal Highness The Duke of Sussex, and Ms. Meghan Markle on marriage will become Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Sussex.”
And it’s good these two are filling the role as there hasn't been a Duke and Duchess of Sussex since 1843. Hopefully, they can live up to their title hype.
