Prince Harry Shares Extremely Rare Update About His Two Kids

A few weeks back, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, 42, issued a rare statement about their kids, Archie, 4, and Lilibet, 2, following the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee’s hearing on protecting children online. Most recently, the royal spare shared an encouraging update on his two little ones with royally obsessed fans.

During the royal’s exclusive interview with Good Morning America on February 16, ABC News reporter Will Reeve asked about the Duke of Sussex’s children. Prince Harry responded, “The kids are doing great. [They are] growing up like all kids do—very, very fast.”

Prince Harry went on to say how “grateful” he is to be their dad, adding, “They both have got an incredible sense of humor and make us laugh and keep us grounded every single day like most kids do.”

At one point during the interview, the 39-year-old royal candidly discussed his brief visit with King Charles in London after learning about his cancer diagnosis. On February 6, the Duke of Sussex was photographed arriving at Clarence House (where the king currently resides) in a black SUV.

After learning about the dad’s health, Prince Harry told Reeve, “I jumped on a plane and went to go see him as soon as I could.” When asked how the trip to London affected him emotionally, he said, “Look, I love my family. The fact that I was able to get on a plane and go and see him and spend any time with him, I’m grateful for that.”

Meanwhile, the duke talked about how he will return to the U.K. to visit his father more in the future. “I think any illness, any sickness brings families together,” Prince Harry explained during the interview. “I’ve got other trips planned that would take me through the U.K., or back to the U.K., and so I’ll stop in and see my family as much as I can.”

Glad to hear the Sussex kids are doing alright.
