Prince Louis on the Trooping the Colour Balcony Is a Thursday Mood
Prince William and Kate Middleton's three children made their carriage debut at this year's Trooping the Colour, but it wasn't until the balcony flypast that Prince Louis, their youngest, emerged as the day's comedic star. Four-year-old Louis was photographed making quite an assortment of faces while the plane flew over Buckingham Palace. Honestly, they perfectly capture how most people feel realizing the weekend is still two work days away.

This is the first Platinum Jubilee event that the royal family is attending. Tomorrow, there will be a Thanksgiving service that Louis and his older brother Prince George and older sister Princess Charlotte could attend with their parents as well.
Louis' life has largely been kept under the wraps. But a source described him and his older sister Princess Charlotte as “cheeky” to Us Weekly in November 2020—something today's photos reflect.
“[Oldest brother Prince] George is well-behaved,” the source started. “All the kids are, but Charlotte and Louis both have a cheeky streak. Louis is more like Charlotte in personality than George!”
Kate additionally spoke in a BBC interview about Louis' tendency to end calls during the height of the coronavirus pandemic and its quarantine. “It gets a bit hectic, I'm not going to lie,” she said of video calling their families. “With a two-year-old you have to take the phone away. It's quite hectic for them all to say the right thing at the right time without pressing the wrong buttons. But it's great and it's nice to keep in touch with everybody.”
