Prince William Just Commented on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's Baby, Which Is Due Any Day Now
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's first child is reportedly set to arrive any day now, but that doesn't mean royal duties grind to a halt for the entire family. For example, Prince William is currently in New Zealand, paying tribute to the victims of the Christchurch mosque shootings.
And while on a walkabout this morning, he was asked about the impending arrival brother's baby. "Any sign of the royal baby?" a well-wisher questioned. Prince William responded, "I haven't got my phone on me-I have no idea. You guys will find out before I do at this rate."
Prince William also joked with the crowd about his own children. When asked about jet lag, the Duke of Cambridge said, "What jet lag? I’ve got three children now. Jet lag doesn’t happen."
Watch the exchange take place in this video, which was shared to social media:
The walkabout this morning was just one element of the visit, which Prince William is making at the request of the Prime Minister of New Zealand, Jacinda Ardern, and on behalf of the Queen, who serves as monarch of the island nation.
Over the course of his trip, he also visited with survivors of the mosque terrorist attack, who are recovering in the hospital.
And on Friday, William gave a moving speech at Christchurch's Al Noor Mosque. "In a moment of acute pain, you stood up and you stood together," he said. "And in reaction to tragedy, you achieved something remarkable."
