Prince William, Kate Middleton Called Out for a Photoshop Fail Involving Prince Louis

Prince William and Kate Middleton's 2023 holiday card perplexed fans this year after eagle-eyed spectators pointed out that the couple's 5-year-old son, Prince Louis, appeared in the shot with an alleged "missing finger."
In the black-and-white image of the family of five, the Royals—inclusive of the Prince and Princess of Wales and their three children: Prince George, 10, and Princess Charlotte, 8, in addition to their youngest—found the crew all donning white button-up shirts.
The boys matched their dad in dark-colored chinos, while Princess Charlotte and her mom both sported denim jeans—but it wasn't their outfits that garnered attention, it was the placement of Prince Louis' hand, which some social media users thought looked as if his middle finger was gone.

“Prince Louis finger is missing, also they have photoshopped someone else’s leg onto his ??," one internet user tweeted, in part, while another agreed, “Prince Louis middle finger is missing and his legs look strange."
A third observed the same, adding, "Why does Louis not have a finger and look at Louis leg both legs don’t look similar.”
Someone else inquired if the snapshot underwent a “heavy editing process,” awkwardly removing some necessary elements.
Collectively, it seems most just chalked it up to a "Photoshop fail," but if looking more closely, one can see it simply looks as if the natural gap between the tyke's fingers was widened due to where his hand was placed on the arm of the chair.
Meanwhile, several others saw no issue with the image, with one chiming in to write, "If you look his finger on the left hand is there." Another rationalized, "His finger is folded under the arm of the chair, it's like when people put a hand in a pocket and a finger or two is outside the pocket...it happens."
When the family first debuted the card, fans couldn't believe how "casual" they kept the ordeal, with someone even joking, "It’s giving JC Penny."
