Prince William May Have Revealed the Sex of His and Kate Middleton’s Baby

Have you marked your calendar in anticipating of the birth of Prince William and Kate Middleton’s third child? If so, then prepare to get very pumped.
On Thursday, the 35-year-old father of two headed to a football game and cheered for Aston Villa, the English football team that won against rivals Cardiff City. According to the Mirror, the Duke of Cambridge got a little too excited when Aston Villa athlete Jack Grealish scored the winning goal. Who cares? Well, he turned to fans and reportedly quipped, “I’m going to insist the baby is called Jack,” he said, pausing to then add, “…or Jackie.”
Suspicious! Was the pause William’s way of correcting himself, realizing that he made a royal mistake in revealing the baby’s sex? Or is it a girl, and his pause reflects the need to throw in “Jackie” and deflect rumors that it’s a boy?
We’ll have to wait to find out.
Kate’s reported due date is April 23, but the folks over at Buckingham Palace are getting it together and preparing to welcome this royal child. Preparations are evidently in place, meaning it’s baby fever over in Queen Elizabeth’s land.

According to People, this baby’s birth is such a big deal that bookmakers across the pond are taking bets on the name. For boys, the most popular names are Albert and Arthur, while the name Philip (William’s grandfather is Prince William) is also up there. If it’s a girl, Alice and Mary hit the top spot.
One thing’s for sure: the child won’t be named George or Charlotte.
