Prince William Spotted at a Pub Amid Growing Concern For Kate Middleton
Prince William, Prince of Wales and Kate Middleton, Princess of Wales
Even though the public continues to voice concerns for Kate Middleton and her current condition, Prince William stepped out in Wales looking like everything is A-okay within the royal family.
In photos obtained by ABC News, the Prince of Wales appeared worry-free while pouring beers at The Turf pub in Wrexham on Friday, Mar. 1 as part of the national celebration of St. David's Day.
Prince William, 41, was all smiles for the outing, seemingly giving fans assurance that there is nothing severely amiss with his wife, despite accusations that Middleton, 42, has gone "missing."
Instead, the Princess of Wales is said to be privately recovering following an abdominal surgery procedure in January, which explains why she has remained out of the public eye for several weeks now.
After the internet began running rampant with theories on the princess' whereabouts, Kensington Palace doubled-down with a statement insisting that Middleton is still at home recovering in private, as they said she would be.
"Kensington Palace made it clear in January the timelines of the princess's recovery. We said we'd only be providing significant updates. That guidance stands," the statement read.
Prince William did raise some eyebrows earlier this week after he canceled an appearance at a memorial service for his godfather, Greece's late King Constantine. His reason for missing the event was chalked up to an unspecified "personal matter," though there was no confirmation that was related to his wife's health, and the Palace also indicated that the situation was no cause for alarm.
