Princess Charlotte's first day of school will be different than Prince George's
On Thursday, Sept. 5, Princess Charlotte will join big brother Prince George for her first day of school at Thomas's Battersea!
However, the 4-year-old's first day will differ in one major way than Prince George's first day of school back in 2017: Duchess Kate will be there to escort Charlotte to school alongside Prince William and Prince George!
When George, 6, had his first day at the prestigious London-based day school, Kate was suffering from severe morning sickness while pregnant with Prince Louis, now 1 year old, and had to miss the milestone.
This will be the next time that we will catch of glimpse of the duchess after her surprise church outing with Queen Elizabeth just last week.
Royal fans will also be excited to hear that Kensington Palace has confirmed that photos will be released on Sept. 5 to mark Charlotte's first day.
It was announced back in May that the little princess would be joining her brother at school. Headmaster Simon O'Malley shared, "We are delighted that The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have decided that Princess Charlotte will join her elder brother, Prince George, at Thomas’s Battersea."
"We greatly look forward to welcoming her and all of our new pupils to the school in September,” he continued.
