With the world wrapped in Meghan Markle fever, one can only wonder what Prince Harry’s mother, Princess Diana, would have thought of her future daughter-in-law.
According to Harry, “They’d be thick as thieves, without question.”
The prince and his bride-to-be sat down for an on-camera interview following their engagement announcement Monday,and the prince contended his mother would’ve loved Markle.
“She’d be over the moon [about our engagement], jumping up and down. So excited for me. She would’ve been best friends with Meghan. It’s days like this where I miss having her around. I’m sure she’s with us,” Harry said.
The royal-to-be’s engagement ring is actually an homage to the prince’s late mother and features a center stone surrounded by two diamonds from Diana’s private collection.
Good taste clearly runs in the family.
