Princess Diana's Former Butler Shared a Touching Never-Before-Seen Letter From Her
Princess Diana's former butler Paul Burrell shared a previously unseen letter she wrote him, seemingly as a show of support for Meghan Markle and Prince Harry.
On Sunday, Burrell shared a photo of the late princess with her sons, William and Harry, alongside a portion of a handwritten note from her, which read, "I love my boys to death and hope that the seeds I’ve planted will grow and bring the strength, knowledge and stability that is needed."
Burrell wrote on Instagram, "As Harry, Meghan and Archie embark on a new life, I am reminded of some poignant words which Princess Diana wrote to me many years ago. They are a mother’s words of unconditional love which are as appropriate today as they were when she wrote them over 24 years ago."
Burrell was formerly a footman to Queen Elizabeth as well as Princess Diana's butler, and was awarded the Royal Victorian Medal in November 1997 for services to the Royal Family.
