Princess Eugenie's Royal Wedding Reception Was Surprisingly Chill
When Princess Eugenie married her longtime love Jack Brooksbank on Friday, the royal affair unfolded like a real-life fairytale. The bride wore a tiara, there was a horse-drawn carriage, and the Queen was in attendance.
But sometimes even royals need to let loose. Following the newlyweds's televised ceremony, things reportedly got wild when the cameras stopped rolling.
According to Vanity Fair, the royal family and other party-goers ate pizza from a food truck outside at the reception. However, this wasn't just any slice of pie, it was "gourmet" pizza per the Mail Online.
To wash down their fancy pizza, guests took shots of Casamigos tequila — the company founded by George Clooney and Rande Gerber. And it makes sense, as the groom is the U.K. ambassador for the brand.
While Mr. Clooney wasn't physically in attendance, plenty of other celebrities were, including Naomi Campbell, Demi Moore, and British pop star Robbie Williams. Williams is apparently a big deal across the pond, and performed several of his hits, such as "Angels," during an impromptu performance at the reception.
The festivities went well into the night, with Zo? de Givenchy posting from inside the party on Instagram, captioning a shot taken at midnight that "the night is still young."
Eugenie and Brooksbank's wedding weekend continues today with a festival theme celebration. Vanity Fair reports that guests will partake in fairground games of our youth. It's hard to imagine Kate Middleton playing balloon darts in head-to-toe Alexander McQueen and high heels — photo evidence, please!
