Princess Eugenie & Fiancé Jack Brooksbank Officially Set a Date for Their Royal Wedding

Updated

Armed with her millennial pink engagement ring, Princess Eugenie is wasting no time wedding planning.

Less than two weeks after their engagement, Princess Eugenie and her fiancé, Jack Brooksbank, officially set a wedding date.

Prince Andrew, Eugenie’s father, announced on Twitter today that “The marriage of Her Royal Highness Princess Eugenie to Mr Jack Brooksbank will take place on 12th October 2018.” He continued to confirm the location of the royal fête, writing, “As previously announced, the wedding will take place at St. George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle.”

In our humble opinion, the royal bride-to-be chose a date the perfect length away from her cousin Prince Harry’s May 19 nuptials to Meghan Markle. At 146 days apart, the royal weddings aren’t too close or too far from each other. Like Goldilocks’s porridge, they’re just right.

Ah, how we love royal weddings.
