Congratulations are in order to Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank!

The couple announced today that they are expecting their second child. Eugenie announced the news on Instagram by sharing a photo of herself and their one-year-old son, August Philip Hawke, shot by Jack.

"We’re so excited to share that there will be a new addition to our family this summer," the royal wrote in the caption.

Buckingham Palace reportedly announced the happy news in a statement. "Princess Eugenie and Mr. Jack Brooksbank are pleased to announce they are expecting their second child this summer," the palace said, according to People. "The family are delighted and August is very much looking forward to being a big brother."

Jack and Eugenie, who first met during a ski trip in 2010, officially wed in St. George's Chapel on October 12, 2018. They later welcomed the arrival of their first child, August, on February 9, 2021.

At the time, Eugenie announced the exciting news on Instagram by sharing a photo of the couple cradling the then-newborn August.

"We wanted to introduce you to August Philip Hawke Brooksbank.. ???????," the princess wrote in the caption. "Thank you for so many wonderful messages. Our hearts are full of love for this little human, words can't express. We are excited to be able to share these photos with you.?"

She additionally credited the photo to the couple's "wonderful midwife. Thank you to the wonderful essential workers including our midwife who came to discharge our boy."
