Princess Madeleine of Sweden Is Moving Her Adorable Family to This Southern State
Princess Madeleine of Sweden and her adorable young family are set to become the newest residents of the Sunshine State!
According to an announcement from the Swedish Royal Court, Madeleine, who is currently seventh-in-line to the throne, her husband Christopher O'Neil, and their three children, Princess Leonore, Prince Nicolas, and newborn Princess Adrienne, will be real-life Southern royalty by the start of the school year.
“The time and opportunity for the United States is good for the family when the children are still in pre-school age,” the announcement explains.
Though the family currently lives in London, Madeleine and O'Neil had previously resided in New York City. Their eldest, four-year-old Princess Leonore, was born there in 2014. According to the palace, O’Neill “has previously been working in the United States but will continue his business in Europe.”
Madeleine plans to continue her work with the World Childhood Foundation Stateside.
“Princess Madeleine has a great commitment to children’s rights and will continue working with the World Childhood Foundation and, through the move, be able to focus more on the activities in the United States,” the Swedish Royal Court noted.
