Priyanka Chopra enjoys a 'few unexpected hours of self care' in a black bikini and sunglasses
Priyanka Chopra just showed her Instagram followers how she does self care.
The Quantico alum took to her social media platform today to share a series of photos and videos of herself hanging out in the pool. The actress, who recently welcomed her first child with husband Nick Jonas, sports a black bikini from Revel Rey Swim and oversized black sunglasses in the pics. She captioned the post, “When u get a few unexpected hours of self care.”
Chopra, who was born and raised in India, also told her followers to turn their sound on so they could hear the soundtrack of her pool day. She included songs popular like “Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahin,” a track from a 1991 Bollywood film of the same name. (In English, the film’s title loosely translates to The Heart Refuses to Listen.)
Chopra’s followers loved the post. One commented of the 39 year old, “This woman just doesn’t age. Skin is glowing. Pure perfection.” Another added, “Enjoy queen, you deserve it.”
It’s no surprise that the Isn’t It Romantic star shared such a carefree post. In a recent interview with Vanity Fair, her spouse shared that while Chopra may come across to many as “regal and refined,” there are other elements to her personality as well.
"She's also got this carefree joy about her and she just exudes it," Jonas explained. "She's an incredible host in that way. I'm more of a reserved person at first, and I open up with friends and people as I get to know them better, but she can make you feel like you are in the family and a part of the inner circle right away."
Last year Chopra, who is currently working as a member of Victoria’s Secret’s VS Collective, recently opened up to Yahoo Life about her favorite self care rituals.
“I always every week — especially right now because I'm filming an action show — try to take a bath,” she noted. “Bathtub, bubbles, music... just sitting with my thoughts every weekend with a facial mask. Finding time for yourself is basically the broader answer, making sure you prioritize yourself and [don't] just keep running when you're feeling caught up in the heaviness of the time we're in right now.”
