Priyanka Chopra Clued Us into Her 4 Favorite (and Super Easy) Beauty Tips

When Quantico actress and humanitarian, Priyanka Chopra stopped by our studio last week (those lips! that skin! that overall badass confidence!), we had to ask what her secret was. So here's the low-down on Priyanka's wonderfully straightforward beauty tips.

1. Listen to your mother.
After all, she’s got the whole aging-gracefully thing down pat. When she tells you to eat your veggies: listen. When she warns you against fine lines and wrinkles: listen. And for Priyanka, that means using all-natural ingredients to stop time in its tracks—DIY facemasks with turmeric (an anti-inflammatory and antibacterial powerhouse that kicks acne to the curb) and yogurt, which naturally prevents wrinkles from forming, dissolves dead skin and tightens pores. If it gives us skin like Priyanka’s, we’re listening to our moms and hers from now on.

2. Use coconut oil on everything.
She got this one from her mama, too. Instead of using moisturizer, the actress uses organic coconut oil on her face and body for an intense shot of moisture, and on her hair to add shine and nourish strands. You heard the girl, toss that moisturizer and buy stock in coconuts.

3. Never forget sunscreen.
This one goes without saying, but coming from the mouth of Priyanka, it’s suddenly even more ingrained in our heads. One of the most common misuses of sunscreen is not using enough, which actually lessens the SPF number. So even if you already slather SPF on daily, add an extra dollop or two and make sure to get not only your face, but also your ears, neck, décolleté and anything else that will be exposed to the sun.

4. Apply lipstick all over your face.
No, she doesn’t mean using it for a crazy color-correcting trick. She actually means using it as your only makeup when you have to be ready five minutes. Apply it to your lips, and blend it with your finger for more of a stain-like look. Then take the pigment that transferred to your fingers and pop it onto the apples of your cheeks for a natural flush. Finish by finger-painting a tiny bit onto your lids for a dewy (and totally on-trend) monochromatic look. Priyanka, we <3 you.
