Now that Black Friday and Cyber Monday are both in the rearview mirror, it’s time to put down the (virtual) shopping bags and show some love for your community.

Drew and Jonathan Scott from HGTV’s Property Brothers have teamed up with Nissan and Lyft this Giving Tuesday to advocate Habitat for Humanity. Give Habitat a Lift is a celebrity ride-along around Los Angeles, stopping and picking up celebrities like LeAnn Rimes, Aimee Garcia, JB Smoove, and Lance Bass.

Along each ride, Drew and Jonathan talk to celebrities about the work of Habitat for Humanity, the meaning of home, and why Habitat’s cause is so important. The nonprofit company aims to provide affordable housing solutions around the world, bettering lives in more than 70 countries. Habitat has had over 22 million people serve since its launch in 1976.

Not familiar with Giving Tuesday? The holiday falls on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving (the day after Cyber Monday) every year and celebrates giving back to philanthropic causes. Whether it's through donations, advocacy, or acts of kindness, anyone and everyone can participate on Giving Tuesday.

“The holidays have always been a time for us to slow down and reflect on what really matters,” said Jonathan Scott. “When we think of home, it’s about gathering with our family and friends. That’s why it’s so important to us this Giving Tuesday to give Habitat a Lift, so more families in the U.S., Canada and around the world can achieve the dream of a home they call their own.”
