Puma is celebrating one year of Voices of its Re:Generation initiative by releasing three short films. The short films offer an inside look into the brand’s supply chain, specifically relating to progress and complexities of sustainability at scale, the company’s working conditions, fair wages, textile waste and resource efficiencies.

The three short films are told through the point of view of Luke Jaque-Rodney and Jade Roche — two influencers, who created the “Voices” video series, along with their colleague Andrew Burgess.

“We’re showing up for the future of the new generation,” reads an official description about the initiative on Puma’s website. “A future we want their help to shape. Because we know that change can’t be contained in boardrooms. To do this, we’re working with four next generation thinkers. Behind the scenes it’s not all talk. Our Voices of a Re: Generation are shaking things up, bringing fresh ideas straight to the top. Through various projects, the ‘Voices’ are educating, engaging, and co-creating. Bringing valuable perspectives and challenging Puma to think differently.”

In addition to reporting on what goes on behind the scenes for Puma, the video series offers suggestions for improvement.

“Puma has a long history of reporting on our sustainability performance, but it is more
important than ever to engage younger generations in sustainability decisions,” said Anne-Laure Descours, chief sourcing officer at Puma. “We hope that by inviting our ‘Voices’ to experience our supply chain we’re able to share the genuine progress and passion that our suppliers have invested as well as the realities and challenges we face in our efforts to improve.”

The three short films take place in factories in Bangladesh, Vietnam and Turkey. The series can be watched on Puma’s website.
