Pups for Paris: Henry, Bre, Mia and Gia

MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — We are so excited to get to bring you Pups for Paris: our push in line with the Olympics to get dogs out of shelters and into forever homes where they’ll never again feel lonely, hungry or scared.

Henry, Bre, Gia and Mia from the City of Prichard Animal Shelter were featured on WKRG News 5 on Monday.

Pups for Paris: Poppy, Gloria, Rex

Henry is a 2-year-old lab mix. He is super friendly and has beautiful eyes! Sadly, he deals with heartworms and will need someone to keep him calm during treatment. Once he’s done with treatment, he will be ready to run and play!

Bre is a 2-year-old Heeler mix. And after her photo debuted on News 5 This Morning, she was adopted and now has a forever home!

Mia is a 2-year-old wire-haired Terrier mix. Terriers are intelligent, active, cheerful and would be an excellent choice for a family with children.

Pups for Paris: Chai, Oliver and Ranger

Gia is a Shih Tzu. She was abandoned at High Point Park and brought into the shelter about a week ago. She was just recently groomed, is heartworm-negative and potty trained. She is super sweet with a good temperament!

For more about Gia, watch the video above!

Head over to the Prichard Animal Shelter and fill out an application, so you can bring a pup to their forever home!
