Queen Camilla Offers Update on King Charles' Health Amid Cancer Treatments
King Charles and Queen Camilla
Queen Camilla, who continues to do solo royal activities as husband King Charles III undergoes cancer treatment, assured the public that the ruling monarch was doing well.
Camilla embarked on a two-day visit to Northern Ireland, and while visiting The Arcadia deli in Belfast, the shop's owner, a woman named Brenda Robb, gave the queen a get-well card for Charles, as reported by Hello! magazine.
"He's doing very well," Camilla told Robb about Charles, adding, "He was very disappointed he couldn't come."
Someone then joked about men "not being the best patients," leading Camilla to jest back, "I try to keep him in order."
During the Belfast visit, Camilla explored other family-owned establishments in the area and was gifted a variety of treats, mentioning Charles again as she told the store owners, "I shall take these back to my husband, he will really make the most of them."
Camilla has been taking on some of her royal duties alone ever since Charles revealed his cancer diagnosis in early February, although the palace has not stated what type of cancer he has. As he goes through treatment, Charles has only been spotted a few times, with one such instance being a few days after his friend Ian Farquhar passed away at the start of March. The palace was also forced to shut down a death hoax earlier in the week.
Meanwhile, Princess Kate, Prince William and the entire royal family are being scrutinized for their actions as Kate's health status remains unclear. The princess reportedly underwent a "planned abdominal surgery" in January but has been rarely seen since, with fans questioning every update from the palace.
Most recently, Kate was allegedly spotted walking by her husband's side to a place called Windsor Farm Ship while wearing black leggings and a sweatshirt. Many questioned whether the video was real or fake and hoped the palace or Kate would clear the confusion up soon.
