Queen Elizabeth Is Hiring a Chef and, Yes, It Includes Living at Buckingham Palace

This just in: Queen Elizabeth is opening the Buckingham Palace doors to a new chef, and we can’t help but wonder if our tenth grade home economics course counts as experience.

The royal family recently gave Britain’s finest tastemakers and foodies the opportunity of a lifetime when they casually posted a job opening online for a “Demi Chef de Partie” position at none other than the queen’s stomping grounds, Buckingham Palace. The announcement explained they’re looking for a talented cook to help prepare meals for the royal family on a daily basis as well as for state dinners and formal receptions (NBD). 

Oh, and did we mention the new position entails living at Buckingham Palace and, in turn, being the queen’s roommate?

Culinary school has never looked so promising.
