Queen Elizabeth II Is Planning Her Own Personal Coachella for Her 92nd Birthday and You’re Invited

Updated

Move over, Coachella. Queen Elizabeth II’s 92nd birthday is now the hottest musical event of the year.

In honor of her birthday, Queen Eliz will take over the Royal Albert Hall in London on April 21 (her actual birthday) to enjoy the musical stylings of Shawn Mendes, Kylie Minogue, Craig David, Sir Tom Jones, Shaggy and Sting (“Shing”), Anna Marie and Ladysmith Black Mambazo (of Mean Girls fame). Oh, did we mention she’s broadcasting the whole thing live on BBC like it’s the Grammys? The musical spectacular will air live on the BBC.

So who else is attending this soiree? The palace says “many members of the royal family” plan to join. They didn’t specify if Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will take a break from wedding planning and join Gan-Gan for a cocktail (or four), or if Prince William and Kate Middleton—who are expecting their third child in April—will make a royal appearance.

But wait, that’s not all. Tickets to the Lilibet Fair (get it?) are available to the public for $32. Not bad.
