Queen Maxima of the Netherlands Suits Up With Max Mara in Shades of Light Green for Visit to Mental Health Organization Mind Us
Queen Maixma of the Netherlands traded in her standard bold and colorful fashion statements for a royal power suit moment during her latest royal engagement on Tuesday. The royal visited the Leading Locals Network of Mind Us, an organization that encourages youth to be more in touch with their mental health, in Wieringerwerf, Netherlands. Queen Maxima is the honorary chairwoman for the organization.
For the daytime event, Queen Maxima fashioned a wool and silk duchess satin blazer in a shade of light green with wool and silk flared trousers by Max Mara. The royal previously wore the look for an event last April. Queen Maxima paired the suit with a white shirt.

With her power suit the centerpiece of her ensemble, Queen Maxima opted to keep her accessories and other elements muted. She wore a pair of neutral, taupe-toned pumps and carried a coordinated clutch. Among her accessories, the royal fashioned a pair of bold blue sparkling earrings and a few metallic bracelets.
Although Queen Maxima is well known for her playful approach to fashion, the royal demonstrated a proclivity for power suit dressing in the past.
For a visit to the Schoenenkwartier museum on April 23, Queen Maxima opted for a monochrome bordeaux power suit by Claes Iversen, which featured high-waist, wide-leg trousers and a coordinated blazer with a single button at the waist — a silhouette similar to the power suit she fashioned on Tuesday.
As for the rest of her attire, Queen Maxima opted to maintain her monochrome look, wearing leather pumps by Gianvito Rossi and carrying a clutch courtesy of Sophie Habsburg.
In many ways, Queen Maxima’s latest ensemble perfectly combines two qualities of her royal wardrobe. The royal loves to toy with bright shades, often fashioning pastels, bold prints and vibrant monochromatic looks for royal occasions.

Unlike the more subdued power suit moment she had last month, Queen Maxima embraced a soft green color with her more business-like attire, proving that a power suit can still speak to an individual’s style sensibility while still commanding attention.
