  • Queen Elizabeth is reportedly “delighted” about the success of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Africa tour.

  • The Sussexes were initially very stressed about how the tour would go down.

It’s been a big week for Meghan Markle, Prince Harry, and baby Archie, who have been on their royal tour of Africa. And if you recall, this tour was kind of a BFD—before the royal fam arrived in Cape Town, their aides were reportedly very stressed about the tour being perfect after the couple got some bad press (see: taking private jets and feud rumors). A source shared, “They and their aides know this tour has to be a success, and everything has been planned meticulously so there is no margin for error.”

But happily, it has been going well for Meghan and Harry, and the queen is reportedly “delighted” with how they brought their personalities to the tour. Royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams tells Express, “The way Meghan and Harry have handled their tour in South Africa so far has been uniquely informal, from hugging and dancing to Meghan not wearing her engagement ring. This is unusual for a royal tour but the Sussexes have already shown they do things their way.”

He adds, “Their main appeal is clearly to the young and it is brilliantly unorthodox....I am sure that the queen, who cares so deeply about her beloved commonwealth, will be delighted at their successes.” And as the head of the royal family, I’m sure that Queen Elizabeth’s approval means a lot to Harry and Meg, so this is very good news for them!

And Fitzwilliams (rudely) didn’t mention Archie, but that baby is also putting in the werk to make the royal tour a hit—now only did he bring his adorableness, but he also did a little dance while meeting Archbishop Desmond Tutu, which was TOO sweet.

So basically, this is probably Harry and Meghan rn:
