  • Zara talked about how proud she is of Queen Elizabeth and said it’s hard being “locked up.”

Like much of the world, the royal family is currently self-isolating to help stop the spread of coronavirus—and the Queen’s granddaughter Zara Tindall just gave an interview from inside her home.

Appearing on Good Morning Britain and speaking to Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid, Zara said, “It’s hard being locked up and not being allowed to do what you normally do.” She added: “We are very lucky out in the country and on the farm—we’ve still got to look after the horses.”

She continued, “I can’t imagine what it is like for people in the city—but try and stay inside and keep the pressure off the NHS [National Health Service].”

Zara’s comments come after Queen Elizabeth’s speech, which she’s understandably proud of: “We’re obviously very proud. What she said is 100 percent what the country needs....I hope everyone listened and we can try and get back to normal and, as we're trying to do today, support the NHS as much as we can.”

In her speech, the Queen said, “Better days will return,” and offered hope for the future, saying, “We will be with our friends again. We will be with our families again. We will meet again.”
