Quentin Tarantino Casts Damian Lewis, Luke Perry & More in New Sharon Tate Movie
Quentin Tarantino’s Sharon Tate film is shaping up to be quite the star-studded event.
Sony Pictures recently announced that Damian Lewis (Homeland), Luke Perry (Riverdale) and Dakota Fanning (The Alienist) will star in Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. Lewis will take on the role of Steve McQueen, Perry will portray Scott Lancer, and Fanning will play Lynette “Squeaky” Fromme.
The trio are joining the likes of Brad Pitt (Fury), Leonardo DiCaprio (Robin Hood), Margot Robbie (I, Tonya), Clifton Collins Jr. (Westworld), Nicholas Hammond (The Sound of Music), Timothy Olyphant (Santa Clarita Diet) and Kurt Russell (Guardians of the Galaxy). Yeah, we weren’t kidding.
Once Upon a Time in Hollywood takes place in Los Angeles in the ’60s and follows a washed-up actor named Cliff Booth (Pitt) who just so happens to live next door to Tate (Robbie), a victim of the Charles Manson murders.
We can only imagine what Carrie Mathison has to say about Brody’s (Lewis) new gig. Once Upon a Time in Hollywood will hit theaters on August 9, 2019.
