Rachael's Feast for FDNY (Or Any Big Crowd You Might Be Serving This Summer!)
When Rachael trained as a firefighter for International Firefighters' Day — as a way to help her good friend Denis Leary raise money for his Leary Firefighters Foundation — she wanted to do something for the brave men and women, too.
She wanted to feed them! (DUH.)
And she did so by whipping them up two hearty menus (one for lunch and one for dinner) that are perfect for feeding a big crowd of hungry people.
The lunch menu is a spread of three types of chili, plus layered nachos, while the dinner menu is Italian-inspired and filled with grilled classics: chicken, burgers and hot dogs.
And since it’s all hungry firefighter-approved, you can be sure the menus will satisfy your friends and family at any summer events you’re hosting, too.
"Second-best chili I had after my wife's," says one firefighter with a wink (we see you, sir!). His comrade adds, "I don't have a wife, so this is the best chili I've ever eaten."
Hear, hear, Rach! Get both menus below.
