On Tuesday, our endlessly generous leader, Rachael, did more than wish. She showed her love and support by announcing that she’d be donating $1 million to help with animal rescue efforts. And we couldn’t be prouder!

The donation will be made through The Rachael Ray Foundation, which helps homeless pets and animals in need and is funded by a portion of the proceeds from each sale of Rachael Ray Nutrish Super Premium Foods and Treats.

So far, $100,000 in donations have been made to each the SPCA of Texas and Austin Pets Alive!.

As many of you know, Rach is a dedicated dog mom to her fur “daughter” Isaboo -- and this isn’t the first time she’s helped four-legged friends in need.

Through November 2016, Rachael's Rescue -- which Rach created for all of the forgotten pets -- has donated more than $15 million dollars to pet charities and animal organizations.

Our hearts and prayers go out to all the families and pets impacted by Hurricane Harvey.
