Rachel Zegler Defends Taylor Swift After 'Cruel' Travis Kelce Romance Comments
Rachel Zegler, Taylor Swift
Rachel Zegler is a girls girl through and through.
The actress stepped up to bat for Taylor Swift after a member of the Barstool Sports team issued a misogynistic statement about her rumored relationship with Travis Kelce, calling for a sex tape from the couple as confirmation of their romance following the overabundance of media coverage they've been receiving.
"If Taylor Swift is going to be taking over our Sunday’s I’m going to need to see a sex tape. These are my demands," Dan Katz wrote brazenly on Twitter on Oct. 2, sharing a disgustingly vulgar clip from his podcast Pardon My Take in which he triples down on the notion.
"You don’t find this at all strange to say?" one person questioned, with Katz replying with a resounding, "No."
But the Snow White actress was quick to eviscerate the take.
"it’s not news that the media is particularly (and unwarrantedly) cruel to taylor swift but the way men feel entitled to speak about women, their bodies, and their sex lives needs to be seriously evaluated," Zegler wrote when she retweeted the post.

In a follow-up, she pointed out that nobody ever speaks that way about men, continuing, "we do not pick apart men’s attitudes and relationships the way we do women’s. and it’s not always just men who speak this way about us. women can and do, too. it sucks."
She later addressed those justifying the commentary as a joke, adding, "...you’ve got to understand that since the beginning of time 'you can’t take a joke' has been synonymous with 'let me say a horrible thing about women without suffering the consequences' — we’re sick and tired! it’s never been funny! get a life!"
