Rainsville Freedom Fest returns to Sand Mountain

RAINSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — The City of Rainsville will play host to the annual Rainsville Freedom Fest later this month.

The festival will be held on Saturday, June 29 at the Rainsville Field of Dreams Sports Complex, 100 Rodeo Lane, Rainsville, AL, and is scheduled to begin at 1:00 p.m.

Kiddie Carnival returns to Athens for another year of family-friendly fun

Event organizers say admission to the festival is free, with free kids rides and activities going from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. A corn hole tournament will begin at 5 p.m. and a fireworks show at 9 p.m. will close out the night.

Additionally, live music will be playing throughout the event, with notable performers including Neal McCoy, who will be on stage at 7:30 p.m., Fortner Brothers 4 Christ and The Underwood Family.
