The line includes miniskirts, suits and blazers, as well as prints that Rachel would likely have coveted today.
Sam Smith announces new pronouns
Sam Smith announced on Twitter that they prefer the pronouns “they” and “them.” Earlier this year, Smith told Jameela Jamil, “I am not male or female. I think I float somewhere between.” They followed that statement with declaring the choice to keep the pronouns “he” and “him.” Now, according to the announcement, “after a lifetime of being at war with my gender,” Smith is embracing “they” and “them.”
World’s oldest parents remain in intensive care
The world’s oldest parents, who just welcomed twin baby girls, are in intensive care. The Indian couple, Erramatti Mangayamma, 74, and her husband, Raja Rao, 78, welcomed their daughters on Sept. 5. A day after the birth, Rao suffered a heart attack, and Mangayamma has also remained in intensive care since. The couple tried to conceive throughout their 57 years of marriage and finally had a successful IVF treatment last year. The twins are said to be doing well at this time and staying with family.
Victoria Beckham’s eating habits as a mother
Victoria Beckham opened up to Glamour U.K. about her eating habits as a mother. The fashion designer said in an interview that she won’t “skip a meal” in front of her kids. She explained that her kids need to grow up knowing a healthy lifestyle and to “see that their mum eats healthily.” This article comes just days after she was criticized for letting her daughter pose next to a group of runway models. One commenter claimed the 8-year-old “needs a day surrounded by normal-sized women.”
