Of course Rapha's new Crit Collection looks good-that's a given from the brand. But this is a new look for them. Compared to the company's retro-inspired apparel with clean lines and basic colors, this kit is wild. There's iridescent "oil slick" designs and reflective logos that will pop during nighttime races.

The collection, says Rapha, also has innovative features to help crit riders win races. Included in the line are an aerosuit and two versions of bib shorts and jerseys (Pro and Flyweight options). There's also a women's Flyweight jersey. Prices range from $135 for the Flyweight Crit jersey up to $315 for the Crit aerosuit.

No More Pins

The Crit jersey and Crit aerosuit have a transparent mesh overlaid on the three rear pockets with a small opening that allows the rider to insert a bib number. Voila, a visible race number with no pin holes! If you still prefer to pin your number then you can attach it to the mesh and avoid damaging the jersey.

Race Ready Cut and Maximum Cooling

Rapha claims that the Pro Team Crit bib shorts and Crit aerosuit offer an aerodynamic advantage by being cut longer in the leg and by using a single seam in the construction to streamline airflow. The Flyweight Jersey has less material to better regulate temps on hot summer race nights but retains the aero features to help you slice through the wind.
