Sep. 3—Working to provide funds for classroom grants, literacy programs and other district initiatives as well as teacher and student recognition programs, the Royse City ISD Education Foundation strives to enlighten students and further illuminate their paths.

Thus, the theme for the foundation's Evening for Education fundraising gala this year is "Our Future is Bright."

Promising an evening "filled with bright lights, celebration, laughter, learning, dancing and a whole lot of fun," the foundation invites supporters to don their best "bright" evening wear at the gala, "whether it's a fancy gown, a snazzy suit or [their] most vibrant pair of jeans."
