'Real Housewives Of New Jersey' Star Teresa Giudice's Home Just Sold
It's been a rough two years for the Giudices.
Notorious 'Real Housewives of New Jersey' star Teresa Giudice and husband Joe Giudice bought their former three-bedroom, one-bathroom home in Lincoln Park, New Jersey for $170,000 in 2005. It recently sold for just $100-less than the cost of a used smartphone-at a foreclosure auction.
You may recognize Giudice as the rowdy housewife who served time in jail after she and her husband plead guilty to a 39-count indictment for conspiracy to commit bank fraud, mail and wire fraud, bankruptcy fraud, and making false statements on loan applications in 2014. Teresa was freed from prison in December after serving almost a year, while Joe Giudice just began his 41-month sentence on March 23.
Despite the Giudice's status as a celebrity and author of cookbooks such as Fabulicious!: Fast & Fit, no bids were made on the property - which the listing describes simply as "charming" and "not a flood zone" - when the couple listed it for $179,000 shortly before their sentencing.
The low-ball sale wasn't the only real estate trouble for the couple since their charges: The Giudice's Manahawkin, New Jersey, beach house was also sold back to its lender at a foreclosure auction for the minimum $100 bid in August 2015. Additionally, the family's mansion in Montville, New Jersey went into foreclosure in April 2015, but the Giudices reinstated the mortgage and settled the foreclosure in October of the same year.
Unlike other gorgeous 'Real Housewives' homes, the Lincoln Park house is modest and has an estimated value of about $219,234. Check out the property below.
