Reality Steve Reveals ‘Bachelor in Paradise’ Season 8 ”Villain”
Bachelor in Paradise season 8 is currently filming and it sounds even messier than usual. Something we thought was impossible, but here we are! Reality Steve just dropped a treasure trove of spoilers laying out exactly what's happening among the 43 (!!!) contestants this season, and you're going to want to check out all the details over on his blog. But one major thing to note? Reality Steve revealed who this season’s “villain” is. Emphasis on those quotes because as anyone who’s been lurking around Bachelor Nation for a minute knows, every season has one poor soul who gets a “villain edit” from ABC. Anyway, this season’s “villain” will apparently be Kate Gallivan (from Clayton’s season).
According to Steve’s original reporting, “Kate is possibly next villain, as she seems to be causing quite the ruckus down there.” He accurately noted that this does not mean she is a “horrible person,” and explained, “I don’t think her edit is gonna be great and she’s rubbing some of the contestants the wrong way from everything I’m hearing.”
Per Steve, Kate arrived during “Casa Amor” (the show’s new Love Island–like twist that involves separating men and women and bringing in new contestants), and her presence mixed things up. Basically, Jacob fell for Kate and broke things off with Jill, causing Jill to go home. But then apparently Kate started exploring things with Logan, causing Jacob to leave. Then Lyndsey arrived, Kate shut down her asking out Logan, and she went home. All of which apparently is enough drama to earn Kate a solid “villain” card.
Got it! Cannot wait to watch, and obviously all credit for the goss goes to spoiler king Reality Steve.
