Reba McEntire Shares Chilling Warning in New Trailer for 'Big Sky' Season 3
It's shaping up to be the best season yet.
Reba McEntire seems to be entering her villain-era in the latest for Big Sky, now titled Big Sky: Deadly Trails.
And deadly the trails are as Jenny Hoyt (Katheryn Winnick), Cassie Dewell (Kylie Bunbury), and new sheriff Beau Arlen (Jensen Ackles) are sent to look into the disappearance of a backpacker. The case leads them to Sunny Day Excursions, a backpacking business run by Sunny and Buck Barnes, played by the country music legend and her real-life boyfriend, Rex Linn.
The three-time Grammy winner proudly shared the new trailer on her Instagram, writing: "Some trails are not meant to be followed. Are you ready? #BigSky: Deadly Trails premieres September 21 on ABC and stream on Hulu. @BigSkyABC."

The trailer—and there's an even longer version on YouTube—sets the murder mystery in motion as the first moment shows a backpacker embarking on his hike in Big Sky, Montana.
When he comes across an old-school tape recorder playing Patsy Cline's "Walkin' After Midnight," he's obviously intrigued, which is when he's presumably ambushed by a mysterious figure. The trailer then cuts to Hoyt and Arlen investigating the business owners.
"Sometimes people just wanna disappear," Linn states, while Arlen hits back, "But then there's people who make them disappear."
The action-packed trailer then shows a body falling onto the hood of Hoyt and Arlen's car, campers having a bloody bad time on their excursion, and someone seemingly burying a body.
Reba's Sunny is also seen throwing a missing person poster into the fire, thus confirming the theory that she had a hand in the disappearance, as Buck seems to attempt to steer the investigation in another direction by noting that "sometimes, predators run their prey right off the cliff."
And that's exactly what happens to the initial backpacker as he's seen falling backward several feet off the cliff.
"Fun will be had or your money back," Sunny assures with a devious smile.
Strap in because this may just be the most thrilling season yet, and it all kicks off Sept. 21 at 10 pm ET on ABC!
