Rebel Wilson Shows Off Injury Caused By a 'Stunt Accident at 4AM'
Rebel Wilson knows everything doesn't always go according to plan when it comes to show business.
The actress and mother of one is no stranger to performing stunts while filming movies, even if that comes with the possible risk of injury.
While working on her upcoming action-comedy Bride Hard, Wilson, 43, apparently wrapped filming in a less-than-ideal way, after suffering an injury to her face that caused her to need stitches.
She shared a photo of her bruised and bleeding face to her Instagram Story after the incident, showing off her stitches and bloody nose in the photo obtained by Entertainment Tonight.
"NOT the way I wanted to end this movie!" she reportedly wrote across the selfie. "3 stitches and in hospital last night after a stunt accident at 4am ??."
But this isn't Wilson's first rodeo when it comes to stunt accidents, as she previously was left "unable to walk" for two days following an injury on set of the Netflix film Senior Year.
As she previously told Newsweek, Wilson was rehearsing a dance scene for the film when she sustained an injury to her back, but she didn't let that stop her from continuing filming.
"We [were] rehearsing for the graduation number and my back went out and I couldn't walk for like two days," she told the outlet back in May 2022. "But I still had to film, being in pretty much every scene apart from the 2002 flashback stuff. I had to film [while] not being able to walk."
Admittedly, Wilson said she "pushed it too far," at the time by rehearsing on Sundays, which was "supposed to be a day to rest."
But as the Pitch Perfect alum has learned throughout her years of acting: the show must go on!
