Reese Witherspoon, Paul Rudd, Matt Damon, and other stars who found love outside the spotlight

Some of Hollywood’s biggest stars found their true loves far outside the spotlight. Here are several of our favorite pairs:

Adele and Simon Konecki

The “Someone Like You” superstar tied the knot with with beau Simon Konecki two years after saying “hello” to their first child together. While Adele is out on the road making crowds scream (and shed some tears), Konecki spends his time as CEO of a charity that works to provide clean water for those in need.

After meeting through mutual friends at a party, Reese Witherspoon and Jim Toth went from walking the line to walking down the aisle in 2011. After being linked over the years to a number of famous actors (she was even married to Ryan Phillippe), Witherspoon went for a behind-the-scenes guy this time (Toth is a Hollywood agent). She commemorated their anniversary in March on Instagram, writing “Happy Anniversary to my wonderful husband who keeps me smiling every day! Here’s to many more adventures together!”

The hilarious Amy Schumer hit it big talking about her dating life, but she happily traded in her single status after meeting regular-guy Chris Fischer. Fischer is far from a Hollywood type — he grew up on Martha’s Vineyard, off the coast of Massachusetts, where his family owns a farm, and he runs a number of successful restaurants. After six months of marriage she shared her love for him on Instagram saying “Married 6 months today. I love you more every day. Sorry my fart woke us up this morning.” Between his cooking skills and her sense of humor, we have no doubt a dinner party with these two would truly be an awesome night.

Jesse Tyler Ferguson makes us laugh week after week on the hit show Modern Family, but off-screen it’s hubby Justin Mikita he’s making smile. Mikita and Ferguson got married in 2013, and when the two aren’t making appearances on the red carpet together, Mikita practices law and is also an activist for equal rights. The two have been excited about starting a family since they tied the knot. Ferguson said, “We are very excited to start a family. We don’t have any sort of timeline right now. … We’ll see what happens!”

Paul Rudd and Julie Yaeger

The mystery of why Paul Rudd hasn’t aged a day may never be solved, but we can tell you what we know about his wife, Julie Yaeger. Rudd and Yaeger met when she was a publicist for a company that was representing him. They hit it off almost instantly and have been married since 2003. They have two kids, Jack and Darby.

Meryl Streep and Don Gummer

Here’s another award for Meryl Streep: She and husband Don Gummer have one of the most enduring marriages in Hollywood. Gummer is an accomplished sculptor and is a proud dad to two daughters who have followed in their mother’s famous footsteps. Married since 1978, these two are role models for romance.

You do not want to mess with funnyman John Oliver’s wife, Kate Norley, who was a U.S. Army combat medic who served in Iraq. She’s also enlisted the help of her famous husband to raise awareness and money for veterans’ issues. The two recently welcomed their second son.

Matt Damon and Luciana Barroso

Matt Damon is a celebrity who thrives in the spotlight. But when it comes to his family, Damon keeps things relatively private. That certainly applies to his wife, Luciana Barroso, who he has been married to for more than a decade. They met while Barroso was reportedly working as a bartender in Miami to support her daughter Alexia while Damon was in town filming the comedy Stuck on You.
