Reese Witherspoon's Son Deacon Wears Nothing But a Fur Coat in Daring Photoshoot
Deacon Phillippe is showing off his wild side in his latest magazine photoshoot.
The eldest son of Reese Witherspoon and her ex-husband Ryan Phillippe recently put on his most daring display yet, as he posted for the new cover of King Kong 16: The Americana Issue.
Deacon, 19, is on his way to becoming a triple threat, as he's already been dabbling in both the music and acting industries. And now, he's showing off his modeling skills, too.
The rising star went shirtless for the photo shoot, wearing nothing but an oversized fur coat to cover him up. The dimly-lit snaps—which showed the teen with tousled hair and a gold cross chain—were shared on Instagram earlier this week to celebrate the racy new cover.
"There’s a hint of danger in our shoot of actor, singer, songwriter Deacon Phillippe, And that’s the way it should be in the year he turns 20," the magazine wrote on Instagram about their new cover star, adding, "A new decade deserves a reboot."
While ditching the "teenage angst," the magazine applauds Deacon for replacing that energy "with a knowing sensuality"—which is exactly what we're seeing in the intimate new pics.
"Having had real success with both his music and acting, there’s plenty of time to deepen and expand what he’s already doing, or to forge something new," they added of Deacon, who released his debut album A New Earth earlier this year.
Plus, they noted "a refreshing openness" about acknowledging the "cinematic heritage" of the Never Have I Ever actor, who is known for having two famous parents.
"Theres’s everything to play for when you use what you’ve got in the right way in his bold and most fearless shoot to date," the post concluded.
