  • Regina Hall says argan oil is the secret to her smooth, hydrated skin.

  • “Ever since I started using it, I feel like it keeps your skin really supple and moisturized,” the Nine Perfect Strangers star told Town & Country.

  • We've rounded up options for every price point, so you can have flawless skin like Hall's.

Regina Hall might play a character on the wrong side of wellness in Hulu’s Nine Perfect Strangers, but in real life, she knows her stuff. Case in point: Hall’s impossibly smooth skin, which she keeps hydrated with a surprisingly affordable beauty staple.

In an interview with Town & Country about her self-care must-haves, the Girls Trip actress, 50, revealed her most beloved tactic for keeping dry skin at bay: argan oil, a nourishing product that’s growing in popularity. “Argan oil just feels good on your skin,” Hall said.

“I tried it, and ever since I started using it,” Hall continued, “I feel like it keeps your skin really supple and moisturized.”

Argan oil, which is pressed from the seeds of the argan tree, has long been a favorite of beauty gurus. Like the Black Monday star says, it’s great for adding moisture to the skin, but the oil has plenty of other benefits, like reducing wrinkles, fading dark spots, adding shine to hair, and even encouraging hair growth.

“I always wash my face before bed. I’ve always moisturized, too,” Hall told Health last month. “Now I use argan oil on my face. Your skin changes—it’s different in your twenties than it is in your thirties than it is in your forties and so on. So you have to constantly be looking at your complexion and assessing what it needs.”

Although Hall doesn’t specify which argan oil brand she favors, there are plenty of options available for as little as $10. Shop our favorites—including ones previously mentioned in Prevention roundups—below!

If you're looking for more beauty inspiration from the actress, Hall shared more of her skin care secrets in the same Town & Country interview. Her other wellness go-tos include mocha rose lip balm, which she says will “make you want chocolate," extra-fancy sandalwood candles, especially Diptyque—“When somebody sends a Diptyque, that means you’re special,” she said. Another favorite of Hall's, which is also Nicole Kidman-approved, is a Sera Labs face serum “If you tell me anything’s ‘age defying anything,’ I’ll buy it," Hall said.

Clearly, the actress and producer takes self-care seriously, as we all should. “All things are interdependent—our joy is connected to our health and wellbeing,” Hall told Parade in August. “But it’s also connected to the people around us ... we’re not islands, and the more connectivity we can generate, the better.”

“I love when I eat right and when I feel spiritually centered and connected,” Hall said in the Health interview. “You have to think about what helps challenge you and move you—and do those things!”
