New restaurant offering classic lobster rolls coming to Pavilion at Durbin Park

Those looking for a taste of lobster will soon have a new option in northern St. Johns County.

Mason’s Famous Lobster Rolls is planning to open its second Northeast Florida restaurant at the sprawling Pavilion at Durbin Park following its regional debut in Fernandina Beach last November, according to plans filed with Florida’s Department of Business & Professional Regulation and a site plan property flyer for the retail center.

The restaurant is one of 37 open or planned by the Annapolis, Maryland-based chain. In Florida, seven Mason’s are open and three more are planned, including in Orlando and Fort Lauderdale as well as Durbin Park in Saint Johns.
