Ricky Martin and Jwan Yosef Are the Proud Parents of a New Baby Girl
Ricky Martin and Jwan Yosef have a little something extra to celebrate this New Year’s Eve. The “Livin’ La Vida Loca” singer announced on Monday, December 31, that he and his husband recently welcomed a daughter into their family.
Martin shared the news on Instagram, posting a photo of the little one’s hands gripping his and Yosef’s thumbs. “We are beyond happy to announce that we have become parents to a beautiful and healthy baby girl, Lucia Martin-Yosef,” he captioned the sweet pic. “It has been a special time for us and we cant wait to see where this stellar baby will take us. Both her beautiful brothers and me and Jwan have fallen in love with Lucia.”
Lucia joins twins Matteo and Valentino, whom the American Crime Story actor welcomed via surrogate in 2008. “I’m so happy! Everything they do, from smiling to crying, feels like a blessing,” Martin told People when he first became a dad. “Being a father is amazing. This has been the most spiritual moment in my life. I have to be honest, I’m completely exhausted. But I’ve never been happier. Whether they smile or cry, it’s all magical.”
More recently, at the 2018 Golden Globes in January, the singer spoke about wanting to add to his brood. “I want four more pairs of twins,” he joked to E! News’ Giuliana Rancic. “I do want a big family, but there’s a lot going on at the moment. A lot of work, wedding, so we’re going to put things in order first and then we’re going to get ready for many more kids.”
